Summer 2017 is behind us and Fall 2017 is upon us! Yet as I say good bye to Summer 2017 I would like to take a stroll down memory lane and share with you my favorite fashion moments, beauty products I've used and outings. Now that fall has kicked summer to the curb it is time to start pulling out the boots and booties. There are so many great styles out right now to fit everyone's needs.and I will be reviewing some of the great looks I've seen for the upcoming season and what I can't wait to put on my feet.

I also took some time to chat with my good friend and fellow shoe lover, Sara Cerda to talk about her life as a blogger, a mom, a wife, and her Younique business. With so many hats and so much on her plate, how does she still have time to look so fabulous each and every day? She will let you in on her secrets.

They always say women wear numerous hats at any given time and no one does it better than Sara Cerda. She is a wife, a mother, a fashion blogger, a brand ambassador, and an entrepreneur. There are times I look at her and just wonder how do you do it all and look fabulous while you're doing it? Whether she is running errands, having family time, or on vacation, she always keeps it fly, stylish, and makes it look EFFORTLESS. So I decided to steal some time from this superwoman's schedule, step into her world, and share her with you!

What do I love most about fall other than Starbucks bringing back the Pumpkin Spice Latte? The pulling out of all my boots and booties. Ranging from flats to high heel, ankle to over the knee, it is boot season and I am so ready for it.Yet there is so much more than just boots and booties to grace your feet with including: denim, shoes with embellishments and extravagant designs, suede (whether real or faux), and the combat look. Check out these great trends for Fall 2017!

Extravagant designs, such as the Gucci pump on the right are something that I am looking forward to seeing this fall. This particular style is based off of Asian culture, and adds exotic theme to the shoe. Looking for something similar that won't break your pockets? Check out Scarlet Pump from JustFab. This Mary Jane style shoe has a great floral design that makes statement when you walk down any street.

Whether your wearing an $1,000+ shoe by Rodarte (Left) or a $44.95 Aynsly Bootie from JustFab (Right), Combats Boots just never go out of style. What I really enjoy seeing is all the different variations they have come up with over the years, and 2017 has not disappointed. It's amazing to me that something which was designed as a military shoe continues to be such a staple to the fashion world.

Thigh high and OTK (Over the Knee) boots! What more do I need to say. Bold colors and sexiness is what this season is giving. Pairing them with jeans or long skirts, thigh high or over the knee boots are a must for your shoe wardrobe. They have upped the stakes when it comes to these boots, and I haven't been disappointed. Fitted, structured, open toe, suede (such as the one from Oscar De La Renta pictured on the left) lace up, patterns and designs, the options are endless when it comes to this sexy style of shoe and I can't wait to add some new ones to my collection. Bring some boldness to your closet with Balicia Heeled Boot by ShoeDazzle for $49.95 (Right). Also available in wide calf width.

If you grew up in the 80s then I am pretty sure you had a pair of slouch boots. Well they are back on the scene and I cannot wait to get a pair. I love how they are combining the slouch look with another trend that is hitting hard right now, sparkles sparkles and more sparkle. Saint Laurent slouch boots (right) is a showstopper this season. if you are looking for a similar style, visit Lola Shoetique and try out Money Moves (Left), for the great price of $36.99.

The runways of NYFW were definitely seeing red including this sexy bootie from Fenty Puma x Rihanna (Right). Red is a color that it took me years to get into because I just rally wasn't a fan of the color. Recently, I have become obsessed with getting more red into my shoe collection and I have not been let down by the brands and designs I am seeing. There is one red bootie that I am excited to add to my collection and that is Denny Bootie from ShoeDazzle, $39.95 (Left).

"What is that, velvet?" It sure sis! Velvet is on the scene and making a statement this fall. These designers did not come to play when it comes ot the use of velvet is shoes. This velvet bootie by Erdem (Left) is the perfect example of what you can expect to see as shoes with velvet material hit the scene hard. I would have to say this is a style that grew on me. In the past there wasn't anything some one could say to me that would make me buy a shoe made of velvet. With the new styles, such as Vivenne Pump in Olive, $39.95, from JustFab, this trend is slowly making a home in my collection.
